It is a short procedure (approx. 30 minutes) performed under local anaesthetic and accompanied by an anaesthesiologist (sedation).After the procedure, the patient can go home, but must follow a few important instructions:

• Avoid heavy lifting,
• Maintain good wound hygiene,
• Take the medication prescribed by the doctor,
• Attend a scheduled follow-up appointment on the agreed date.

For the treatment to take place in the first place it is necessary to have a consultation and examination, during which the proctologist will qualify the patient for the appropriate treatment – correct diagnosis is the basis of our action and success in treatment.
