Clarivein treatment
The treatment involves inserting a catheter equipped with a special rotating tip into the vein, which mechanically damages the inner layer of the vein, causing it to narrow. At the same time, a sclerosing agent solution is administered to the vein. This method is a valuable alternative for patients who cannot undergo foam treatments. The entire treatment process is closely monitored using ultrasound to ensure maximum safety.
In Poland, the Clarivein system has been available since 2013 and is used only in selected medical centers.
In order for the treatment to be carried out, a consultation is first necessary, during which the phlebologist will perform a Doppler ultrasound of the veins and qualify the patient for an appropriate treatment – correct diagnosis is the basis of our activities and success in treatment.
