We are pioneers in Pomerania in introducing a new method of treating varicose veins using Twist 1940 laser ablation.

Endovenous laser thermal ablation is one of the most modern techniques used in the treatment of varicose veins, which has gained great popularity in recent years and is ahead of other methods.

During the procedure, the laser is introduced into the vein under ultrasound control. The laser is then gradually withdrawn, causing the failing vessel to close.

Due to the high temperature generated, it is necessary to apply local tumescent anesthesia around the vein. In some cases, the procedure can be supplemented with miniphlebectomy or sclerotherapy.

The main advantages of the EVLT laser thermal ablation procedure include:

• No need for hospitalization.
• High effectiveness and satisfactory results.
• Short recovery period.
• High safety of the procedure.
• No incisions or postoperative scars.

After the treatment, it is important to remember the following issues:

• Avoiding exposure to the sun and hot baths.
• Regular walks (at least 1-2 hours a day).
• Avoiding intense physical activity, especially in the first few weeks.
• Wearing a compression stocking as recommended by the doctor.

The price of the treatment includes:

• Control visit before the treatment (with ultrasound )
• Control visit after 5-6 days after the procedure (with ultrasound)
• Control visit about 30 days after the procedure (with ultrasound)
• Control visit about a year after the procedure (with ultrasound)
• Compression stocking.
• Care of an anesthesiologist during the treatment.
