JBS Klinika – Kompleksowe leczenie chorób układu naczyniowego oraz żylaków
The EVRF (Endovenous Radiofrequency) method is used for minimally invasive treatment of varicose veins of the lower limbs by obliteration, i.e. closing the great saphenous vein using an EVR device emitting radio waves of a specific frequency.
To minimize the temperature generated during ablation, it is necessary to use local tumescent anesthesia around the vein. In some cases, the procedure may be supplemented with miniphlebectomy or sclerotherapy.
Radiofrequency thermal ablation, like the laser procedure, is characterized by a very low recurrence rate (about 3%) and is usually performed as a one-time procedure. It is also a procedure with a very low risk of complications, including the lowest risk of thromboembolic complications among known treatment methods of veins.

In order for the treatment to take place, a consultation is first necessary, during which a
phlebologist will perform a Doppler ultrasound of the veins and qualify the patient for an appropriate treatment – correct diagnosis is the basis of our actyvities and success in treatment.
