Sclerotherapy has been performed in our clinic for many years, which contributes to achieving great therapeutic effects for our patients. Sclerotherapy is a minimally invasive and safe treatment that involves the introduction of foam or fluid with a sclerosing substance into dilated veins and spider veins. This treatment ensures the closure of ineffective, dilated and aesthetically unattractive vessels and their gradual disappearance. Sclerotherapy also brings very good cosmetic results.
The treatments are performed using a very small diameter needle, thanks to which the patient’s comfort is maximized and pain sensations are minimized. The procedure takes about 30 minutes. After the procedure, a compression stocking is put on and a walk of about an hour is recommended.
In order for the procedure to take place, a consultation is first necessary, during which the phlebologist will perform a Doppler ultrasound of the veins and qualify the patient for an appropriate treatment – correct diagnosis is the basis of our actions and success in treatment.
