The Flebogrif treatment involves the introduction of a special catheter into a vein, which performs mechanical damage to the inner layer of the vessel and at the same time administers a sclerosing
agent in the form of a foam. To ensure maximum safety, the entire procedure is monitored using ultrasound.
The procedure usually takes about 40 minutes and does not require hospitalization or long-term sick leave. Moreover, the recovery period is very short. It is also important to emphasize that the treatment method using the Flebogrif system is innovative and used only in a few selected centers in Poland.
In order for the treatment to take place, a consultation is first necessary,during which a
phlebologist will perform a Doppler ultrasound of the veins and qualify the patient for an appropriate treatment – correct diagnosis is the basis of our actyvities and success in treatment.
