This test provides information about the shape, volume and possible irregularities in the structure of the thyroid gland and parathyroid glands. Precise performance of thyroid ultrasound allows to adjust the treatment accordingly.

Thanks to this test, the doctor can detect autoimmune thyroiditis, nodular thyroid disease, developmental defects of the thyroid gland and assess the condition after thyroid surgery.
