Many patients who come to our clinic seek help for leg pain, but not always the cause of these problems is only related to varicose veins and venous insufficiency. Some patients have mixed problems resulting from venous insufficiency, lymphatic vascular insufficiency and arthritis of the joints and spine.

In order to meet the needs of the many patients who suffer from discopathy and various arthritis and, above all, leg pain, we offer the help of a physiotherapist who specialises in two main areas: lymphoedema and manual therapy.

In cases of lymphoedema, we carry out what is known as Comprehensive Oedema Treatment (KPT), which is applied to the following conditions (covering the entire problem of oedema,
taking into account their cause):

• Lymphoedema (congenital, primary, secondary)
• Lymphedema after mastectomy, in the course of Hodgkin’s lymphoma,
  prostate cancer, cervical cancer,
• Lymphoedema after saphenous vein harvesting for coronary artery bypass grafting, for example,
• Recurrent infectious swellings such as roseola (erysipelas) or lesions of the post-traumatic damage.

Manual therapy, on the other hand, covers the following conditions and
ailments:

• Discopathy,
• Knee sciatica,
• Range of motion blockages and restrictions,
• Spinal pain,
• Headaches and dizziness,
• Muscle pain,
• Tingling and numbness in the limbs,
• Whiplash injury to the cervical spine( usually due to a traffic accident).
